There are many ways to help as a Volunteer. First we are all Volunteers. Nobody gets paid anything for their work here. We have a big job and we are always in need
of more help. Please check out the list services that we are in need of.
Volunteer assists with the day-to-day activities of a Parrot Sanctuary,
including soicalization, training, feeding and of course cleaning. Also including help with events and actives outside of the sanctuary.
Volunteers should be willing to work on an as-needed basis before and during fundraising
events (i.e. Open House and Parrot Portraits). Assistance in preparation for events
is also needed, which includes mailing, research, brochure distribution, etc. On
event day, duties include setup, decorating, photography/videography, registration,
ticket booth, serving, etc.
Volunteer assists with the day-to-day activities of the non-profit organization,
including filing, answering routine communications, follow-up on confirmed donations
from vendors, etc. Activities may be completed at the volunteer's home or may require
the volunteer's presence at the regional location.
Volunteer to make birdie toys for fundraisers. As needed
basis.
As well as provide toys for parrots in need at the Sanctuary.
Volunteer to bake cakes/cookies and other goodies or cook for fundraisers. As needed
basis.
As well as provide treats for parrots in need at the Sanctuary.
